2. Polaris Experience Center -205 5th Ave. SW Roseau The newest attraction in this community known for snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and hockey isn't a museum. Instead, the 5,600-square-foot Polaris Experience Center is a self-guided tour, of sorts, through the history of a company that's been an integral part of life here for more than 50 years. 3. While in the Warroad area be sure and take a fascinating factory tour of the following facilities.

Heatmore, Inc. Located on Main and Taylor Rd. in Warroad this factory manufactures a variety of outdoor wood burning stoves. Call 800-834-7552 for tour times and information.

Marvin Windows and Doors, located on Highway 11 West, the facility is home to the world's largest manufacturer of made-to-order wood windows and doors. 3,000 people work at the main plant in Warroad and tours are offered Monday through Friday, call 218-386-1430 for tour information.

4. Boise Cascade Paper Mill, 2nd St and 4th Ave, International Falls, offers tours June-August, Monday through Friday. No cameras are allowed, no children under the age of 10, and proper footwear is required. Call (218) 285-5511 for tour details.
